Meet Our Summer Interns!

Radnor Financial Advisors is pleased to welcome our two Financial Planning Interns for the summer, Lilli Smith and Evan Kaiser!

Lilli Smith, from York, PA, is majoring in Financial Planning at Temple University’s Fox School of Business. She is a member of the university’s chapter of the Financial Planning Association and Beta Gamma Sigma, the honor society for business programs accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. As a result of her academic achievements at Temple, she has been named to the Dean’s List for all 6 of her semesters, with a 3.99 cumulative GPA.

She chose RFA’s summer internship program to expose herself to the financial planning industry in a way that the classroom will never teach. Her goal is to gain the credentials to be a financial planner to help others achieve their financial goals. After graduating in May of 2021, Lilli plans to sit for the CFP® exam. Outside of the office, Lilli enjoys hanging out with friends and family, baking, spending time outdoors, and heading to the shore for occasional summer day trips.

Evan Kaiser is from Downingtown, PA and is currently a rising junior attending Temple University’s Honors College. At Temple he is studying Financial Planning and Accounting with hopes of passing the CFP® exam after graduation. He became heavily involved with the University’s Investment Association working to become a Lead Analyst in the Fox Fund, which is a virtual student run investment portfolio. Through this experience he became in love with finance and investments but wanted a career where he could more prominently work with people. After attending Temple’s FPA career day and enrolling in the Introduction to Financial Planning course he was sold on the idea that he could pair his love for investments and working to help individuals on a much more personal level into one career.

It was at Temple’s FPA career day where he first met with Radnor Financial Advisors and got the chance to talk with some of the people at the firm. He slowly started to learn that the RIA model was the space he wanted to work in as it allows planners to make the greatest positive impact in the lives of their clients and RFA seemed like a company that valued the sense of fulfillment that can come with this profession. The first week has been great as everyone is more than willing to help the interns with tasks, answer questions, and create an environment that ensures each day is a valuable experience! Outside of RFA, Evan is the President of the Inventors Club at Temple and is an avid runner. He enjoys spending time with his friends and family, following Philadelphia sports, and officiating basketball games for the PIAA whenever possible.
