Radnor Financial Advisors is pleased to welcome our two Financial Planning Interns for the Summer, Joseph Giorgio and Brian Martin!
Joe Giorgio is from Lansdale, PA and is a senior in the Fox School of Business at Temple University. He is currently majoring in Financial Planning and has a minor in Finance. He is a member of Temple’s Financial Planning and Finance Associations and Beta Gamma Sigma, an academic honor society for top business school students. He has been named to the Dean’s List each semester at Temple and has a 3.92 cumulative GPA. Outside of school, he enjoys biking and kayaking and is an avid Philadelphia sports fan.
He chose Radnor Financial Advisors to gain experience and exposure in the financial planning industry. After originally majoring in Finance without a clear sense of what he wanted to do with his career, he discovered Financial Planning as an opportunity to pair his skills in math and investments with his desire to connect with clients and coworkers. He recognized in his interviews with individuals at RFA how rewarding the profession can be and how his talents could be used for the benefit of others. His goal is to eventually sit for the CFP® Exam and help all his clients to achieve the financial freedom necessary to live their lives the way they want. He is very excited to be working with a lot of like-minded individuals who strive to help their clients succeed and live a happy life.
Brian Martin is from Buffalo, New York and is majoring in personal financial planning at Edinboro University. He is a member of the university honors program, member of the Financial Planning Association and the Vice President of the Personal Financial Planning Club at Edinboro. He has been named to the Dean’s list every semester and has a 3.75 GPA. Outside of school, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching and playing sports, especially the Buffalo Bills, and the occasional game of disc golf.
He wanted to intern at Radnor Financial Advisors summer internship program because it is a fee-only RIA, also to get hands on experience with financial planning. So far, he has really enjoyed the people and the culture at Radnor, and he is excited for what the rest of the summer has to offer.
